John Henry III was named on ASI Counselor Magazine's 2017 Hot List. The list is described as an annual celebration of the biggest, baddest, boldest entrepreneurs and trailblazers in the promotional products industry.
“The standouts on this year’s Counselor Hot List are a fun and feisty group with a proven willingness to embrace risk and challenge the status quo,” said Counselor Editor-in-Chief Dave Vagnoni. “They are the fearless ones, which is a great quality to have if you’re trying to make a distinct mark in a creative, competitive industry.”
When I asked John about his recent acknowledgement he replied: "I am honored to be on the list. While it is a personal recognition I would never have made anyone's radar without the help and support of the great team at JH. Anyone can have ideas but surrounding yourself with people who believe in your vision and then dedicate their time and talents to get there is when it really gets fun. I am proud where we are today, but I think we are still just scratching the surface."
A few fun facts to help spotlight how cool it is for a guy in Fort Wayne to make the list.
- The promotional products industry is estimated to represent an annual spend of $22.9 billion dollars.
- The Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) serves a network of 23,500 suppliers, distributors and decorators.
- Anyone can nominate their peer for the annual Hot List (which they have published a list each year since 2008). ASI's editorial team reviews each nomination and determines the top innovators.
The winners will be featured in the magazine’s June issue, available in print and online.
