In January, a few of us from our promo team traveled to Las Vegas and attended the PPAI Expo. What is the PPAI Expo you may ask? The PPAI Expo is the largest tradeshow of the year in the promo industry with hundreds of different suppliers and distributors in attendance. It’s where promo experts all over the world come together and showcase their new products, discuss strategies, and share innovative ideas. While we didn’t get to see everything at the show, we did make it around to see a lot of it. There were a ton of new products showcased and lucky for you, you get to see a glimpse into some of our personal favorites below!
3-in-1 Dog Bottle
Dog owners will understand how genius this water bottle invention is! Not only is this a water bottle, but the bottom of the bottle unscrews and becomes a bowl to pour water in for your dog. It get’s better though – once you unscrew the water bowl, there’s a food bowl as well that you can use to hide snacks/food for your dog. I truly believe every dog owner needs one of these!
Dirty Cookie
These cookies were absolutely life changing. This company was featured on Shark Tank and we actually got to meet and speak with the owner. Lucky for us, they were handing out free samples and we were able to try the cookie shots AND their stuffed cookies. Both were equally delicious. Highly recommend.
Clear Stadium Bags
Live events are back and stronger than ever! Most stadiums/venues have new rules that require bags to be a certain size and to be clear to be able to see the contents in the bag. These stadium bags are perfect for all of those live events and they adhere to the new rules. Lastly, with the full color decal, it makes it a more unique/custom looking bag that you can reuse for all of your upcoming live events.
Clam Cooler
This cooler is perfect for anyone who enjoys a long summer day out on the water. This cooler literally floats in the water with you. It holds up to 58 12oz cans, keeps ice for up to 3 days, and has a quick access lid. This summer, stay chillin’ on your floatie and don’t worry about having to get out of the water to get a drink!
Embossed Apparel
This was a new decoration technique that was unique. I liked how this technique was more retail-looking and a way to customize apparel in a more subtle way.
Custom Packaging
Packaging was the product of the year for 2022 so I knew there would be a lot of different packaging options at the show. However, I didn’t realize just how advanced packaging is in our industry now! More to come on this topic in the future, but creating the experience from the moment a product is received is imperative to make a lasting impact and truly get the best ROI.
Rose Gold Drinkware
There were so many products across the entire show that were available in rose gold. It is definitely a trending color in the market right now. These drinkware options really caught my eye though. Not only is the color beautiful but the quality of these items are fantastic as well.
Plinko
We all know and love the game Plinko! This game stands the test of time and is perfect for job fairs, tradeshows, company events, and/or meetings. With just a 1 pc. minimum, it’s a great product for anyone and everyone!
Would you believe me if that was just a small fraction of the amount of new products we saw at the show?! Well, it’s true. That’s what makes this industry so fun though.
